Orthodox Midday Prayer (crypt)

Once a month, the Chapel of the Resurrection offers a midday liturgy that follows Orthodox traditions.

Gathered in the crypt of the chapel, we draw from the grand spiritual wealth of centuries of Orthodoxy. A group of priests of Orthodox jurisdiction, resident in Brussels, is responsible for the preparations. The liturgy is either based on the structure of the Orthodox day-time and evening prayers or follows the tradition of the Supplications (Paraclesis).

The ‘Tropaion’ of the day, important feasts of the orthodox calendar: our 30 minutes liturgy is a creative space of orthodoxy in the core of Brussels’ European Quarter.

Schedules

on the last wednesday of every month,
from 12.30 to 1.00 p.m.
